Breathe 03:49
i'm the air inside your lungs Push me out then breathe me in I am everywhere around you Look behind you, catch a glimpse I'm the phantom in your nightmare I'm the chill that's on your neck I've been waiting for this window Look at me, no turning back If you lean a little closer I can whisper in your ear I don't need a sign to tell you Everything you need to hear You've been searching for the Same thing your whole damn life But you need to know the moment's all we have tonight I'm not singin a song What are you talkin about I'm not singin a song Ain't no music on What are you talkin about Would you please shut your mouth
2.
Embers 03:51
I'd say I'm angry but that Wouldn't even cut it, yeah I think I'm tired of This old game I'd say that you can go to hell but I Never wanna see you again I say go play your game without me cuz I'm Tired of this place Burn it down around me Oh I gotta What are you waiting for Why don't you show yourself I think I'm tired of running And I could use your help The fires I've been starting Never keep me warm I keep on asking What am I doing wrong
3.
Flow 03:12
The current takes me with it The water tells me where to go Watch me give in to the river And I'll be swept up in the flow But I don't want to give up Plant my feet right in the mud And when I catch that next wave I think I'll be in luck I don't want to be here Why'd you make it so damn hard I don't need your medicine I think I'd rather drown
4.
Roots 06:31
I've been waitin to rest for far too long Spent too much time with my feet on the ground Walked a hundred times around the track alone But the earth and the grass always calling me back home Maybe someday I'll be the one you're calling Maybe someday I'll be the one who's calling Maybe someday I'll be the one they're calling for Maybe someday I'll be calling I've been fading away I don't want to fade away I've been fading away I don't want to fade away No not yet Calling your name in the dead of night Thinking sometimes I've lost this fight Sitting alone in this room I thought It'll be ok if this is all we've got
5.
YES! 05:48
Everyone I know Melting into white light Coursing around the room I see it in your eyes Everyone around me I know you see it to I know there's less of me Will there be less of you I've been getting lost Well that's alright I'll admit I'm lost But we'll be just fine Tonight

about

a message from the earth to the people and back again

this album started out as a tiny seed of an idea many years ago, and it has been tumbled and refined by the passing of time into something breathing and alive.

It is a soundtrack to the journey through grief towards healing.
It is the backdrop to subconscious exploration
It is a catalyst for change
It is a tool used to test and refine relationships
It is a message I don't yet fully understand
It represents the birth of our future
and the sacrifices we have made to get here
when Babylon Falls, nothing will ever be the same, for better or for worse.

!!! follow us to keep updated on the release of this album's accompanying short film. we worked together as a band to weave our music and psychedelic visuals into an arboreal tale of lost and found. !!!

Memories of dancing around the fire with the people you love, a shoebox full of ex's shit set on fire as a form of release ritual, countless hours spent aimlessly wandering through nature preserves because we weren't welcome anywhere else but finding peace along the way, moments of weakness and turning to friends for protection and comfort, sharing our dreams of the future, of finding our place in this world together, speechless bliss and the ineffable.

A huge thank you to Natalie Schunk for contributing the album art, you can see more of her amazing work at sphinxiii.com

Track 5 features a recording of our talented friend TaekSung Kim reciting the Lord's prayer, and also a small loop from one of his piano performances used as the outro.

Track 3 features a vocal snippet of a poem from ex-collaborator Michael Blair, as well as some keyboard playing in the outro.
